UK Gas Services (UK GS) is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to work on new build housing developments. The role involves first and second fix plumbing, heating installations, and commissioning works in line with site programmes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of full domestic plumbing and heating systems on new build properties
- First fix and second fix plumbing installations
- Installation of radiators, underfloor heating systems, cylinders, and pipework
- Boiler installation and commissioning (where Gas Safe registered)
- Pressure testing and system flushing
- Reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications
- Working to NHBC standards and building regulations
- Liaising with site managers, supervisors, and other trades
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
- Completing required certification and documentation
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience in new build housing developments
- Strong knowledge of current Building Regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence

- Gas Safe Registered
- Unvented Hot Water Qualification (G3)
- Experience working on high-volume housing sites
