UKGS is seeking Multi-Skilled Operatives to deliver kitchen, bathroom, and wet room refurbishments across planned maintenance frameworks. The successful candidate will be competent across multiple trades and able to complete works to a high standard within occupied social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full kitchen, bathroom and wet room installations
  • Wet room former installation and floor latex works
  • Plumbing alterations and pipework adjustments
  • Wall and floor tiling
  • Full plastering and making good
  • Working safely in tenanted properties & voids alike
  • Adhering to framework SLAs and KPIs
  • Maintaining high standards of finish and compliance
  • All forms of carpentry
  • Installation of units, worktops, sanitaryware, and appliances
  • Ensuring tenant care standards are met
  • Protecting residents’ homes during works

Essential Requirements

  • Strong plumbing and carpentry skills
  • Wet room installation experience
  • Social housing experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Trade qualifications
  • DBS clearance
  • Asbestos awareness certification

All operatives working under UKGS social housing frameworks must:

  • Demonstrate strong tenant care and safeguarding awareness
  • Maintain professional conduct in occupied properties
  • Wear branded PPE and adhere to company standards
  • Meet framework KPIs (Right First Time, Customer Satisfaction, Completion Targets)
  • Complete required documentation accurately
  • Follow safeguarding and vulnerable tenant procedures
  • Participate in toolbox talks and compliance training
