UK Gas Services (UK GS) is recruiting qualified Electricians to carry out electrical installations on new build housing developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations in accordance with current regulations and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- First and second fix electrical installations
- Wiring of domestic properties
- Installation of consumer units, lighting, sockets, and accessories
- Installation of smoke alarms, extractor fans, and heating controls
- Testing and inspection of electrical systems
- Compliance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
- Working to drawings and specifications
- Coordination with other trades on site
- Maintaining high health & safety standards
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Valid ECS/CSCS Card
- Experience in new build housing
- Ability to test and inspect installations
Desirable
- 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification
- Experience in high-volume housing developments
