UK GS are looking to hire an Electrical Manager to lead and maintain electrical compliance for all business units completing installation works.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical compliance activities across business units, ensuring adherence to current industry regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Act as the primary contact for electrical compliance, providing technical leadership, governance, and strategic direction across the business.
- Manage and oversee all NICEIC certification requirements, working alongside and managing other EQSs in the business, including preparation for and successful completion of NICEIC audits and assessments.
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of electrical standards across all operational areas.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust electrical compliance processes, procedures, and documentation systems.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews, inspections, and internal audits to identify risks, drive corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams, supervisors, and engineers on day-to-day activities, best practices, and safety standards.
- Ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with BS 7671, health and safety legislation, client specifications, and relevant statutory requirements.
- Liaise with clients' technical teams, regulatory bodies, and senior stakeholders regarding electrical compliance matters.
- Produce detailed compliance reports, audit findings, and performance updates for senior management and directors.
- Support tender submissions, client compliance requirements, and business development activities with technical expertise.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence throughout all electrical activities and business units.
- Work alongside directors and managers to plan and build future capacity through recruitment and apprentice programmes.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with relevant industry certifications and demonstrable experience in a compliance or EQS role.
- In-depth knowledge of BS 7671 and current electrical regulations and standards.
- Proven experience managing NICEIC accreditation and audit processes.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and statutory compliance requirements.

- Monitor competency, training, and accreditation requirements for electrical personnel across the business.
- Ability to lead, manage, and develop a team of EQSs and electrical personnel.
- Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
